Entertainment Tonight recently visited The High Window to tape a segment on Wilson Phillips and their new album Christmas In Harmony, which is currently being produced by Glen Ballard.

Read what ET Online had to say about Carnie, Chynna, and Wendy as they reunite with Glen for their first Christmas album:

New “Harmony:” A Wilson Phillips Reunion!

“Hold On” was Wilson Phillips’ first single from their debut album in 1990, and it went No. 1, with their self-titled disc selling more than five million copies! But by 1993, after just two albums, the band broke up. Now, the girls are back together, and you’d never believe two decades have come and gone.

“It’s like nothing’s changed, honestly,” says Carnie Wilson. “We blinked, and here we are again.”

“It’s like no time has passed,” agrees Chynna Phillips.

Even though it’s still only June, they’re in a yuletide state of mind as they record Christmas in Harmony, due out this October.

“We have always wanted to make a Christmas record,” says Chynna. “We always wanted to have that time together where we could just explore all the Christmas songs we could do.”

Wendy Wilson adds, “We really missed singing together and making records,” calling the process a fun, bonding experience. “It actually feeds our souls when we sing together.”

In the intervening years, Chynna went solo, Carnie became a TV personality and all three became moms!

“We have nine kids between the three of us — Wilson Phillips plus nine!” says Chynna.

The project is that much more of a blessing as earlier this year Chynna entered rehab seeking treatment for anxiety. Through it all, Carnie and Wendy were there for her.

“I had one of the most beautiful conversations with Carnie and Wendy when I was going through my really hard time,” says Chynna. “I could feel the love literally emanating through the phone. … They’ll always be there for me.”

Carnie also had her ups and downs in the weight battle department, and does not want to be known as the weight loss girl anymore.

“I want to be a healthy person,” she says. “I think we all strive to be good mothers and healthy people, and that’s really our main goal.”

And, of course, their other goal is to make a great Christmas record. But after that, will there be another new Wilson Phillips album?

“We are praying for that,” says Chynna. “We are so ready.”

With the upcoming August release of her sophomore album, Teenage Dream, a brand-new hit single “California Gurls,” and a slot performing at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, this is a busy year for Katy Perry!

Currently climbing the charts, “California Gurls” is a summer-time smash from a true California girl. A Santa Barbara native, it was when Katy moved from Nashville back to her native California that she first teamed up with Glen Ballard.

“I came […] to Los Angeles with a wonderful producer named Glen Ballard, who brought me out here and kinda looked out for me for three years,” she explained. “After being signed and dropped, signed and dropped, signed and dropped by a couple different record labels whose names I will withhold, Capital Records picked me up.”

And Katy has continued to forge ahead ever since.

Teenage Dream, Katy’s follow-up to her successful first release, One of the Boys, is inspired by Ace of Base and roller-skating jams and features guest appearances by West Coats rappers, including Snoop Dogg.

With beaches and bikinis in the months ahead, Katy promises an album that will be the perfect soundtrack to the summer. “It’s so exciting [the album] is coming out this summer. It’s a summer record. It’s what I said I wanted earlier. I finally got it.”

An on-line review by The Los Angeles Times praised Christian, writing “the genre-blind 26-year-old incorporates elements of funk, rock and hip-hop into jazz, making him the collaborator of choice for a wide variety of musicians, including Mos Def, Prince and even Glen Ballard.”

“He’s never made an album quite like this. […] with many arresting moments of collaboration and expression, “Yesterday You Said Tomorrow” feels like a broad-reaching statement of purpose, one that clearly marks Scott as an artist taking his music to the next level.”

Award-winning composer John Debney reunites with director Garry Marshall for the sixth time to score the romantic-comedy Valentine’s Day, starring Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel, Patrick Dempsey, Taylor Swift, Jamie Foxx, Taylor Lautner, Anne Hathaway, George Lopez and many more. The all-star romantic-comedy centers around intertwining couples and singles in Los Angeles that break-up and make-up based on the pressures and expectations of Valentine’s Day.

Along with writing an original score for the film, which was recorded with the Hollywood Studio Symphony at the Sony Scoring Stage, Debney also re-unites with Glen Ballard to create the song “Every Time You Smile” performed by Carina Round.

Debney’s musical ability knows no boundaries, and his music sets the tone for films in all genres, from his Academy Award® nominated score to “The Passion of the Christ” to his work on Disney’s “Hannah Montana: The Movie;” for which Debney and Glen Ballard created the song “Butterfly Fly Away” performed by Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus.

Valentine’s Day opens in theaters on Friday, February 12, just in time for Valentine’s weekend.

The movie’s official soundtrack will be released on February 9, 2010 via Big Machine Records.

In 1995, “You Oughta Know” introduced the world to a then-unknown Canadian singer named Alanis Morissette, and last night during the Grammy Awards, Beyonce worked the song into her performance of “If I Were A Boy.”

Co-written by Alanis Morissette and Glen Ballard, featuring guitar and bass from Dave Navarro and Flea (both of whom were in the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the time), shot straight to the top of the Billboard Modern Rock chart, powering sales of Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill to more than 33 million copies.

At the 1996 Grammy Awards, “You Oughta Know” won Morissette two trophies — Best Female Rock Vocal Performance and Best Rock Song —and Pill took home two more, for Best Rock Album and Album of the Year.

Since its release, “You Oughta Know” has also been covered by the likes of Britney Spears, and Beyoncé made it a part of her “I Am … ” world tour in 2009 and her Grammy performance Sunday.

Chairman and CEO David Renzer announced the news at MIDEM today, saying it’ll be a songwriters channel. “It’s not going to be just Universal writers, we’re going to open it up to the industry,” he said.

Renzer cited one example of Glen Ballard talking about working with Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones.

“You almost feel like you’re in the studio with him and Quincy,” said Renzer. “We’ve shot about half a dozen of these now. We have a rev-share deal with Vevo, and we’re hoping to get a sponsor on board – so it might be Behind The Hit Songs sponsored by American Express.”
